Philly For Jobs.

Support the workers, residents, and first responders whose safety and livelihoods are at risk from untested technology.

Stand with Drivers and Communities

Our mission is to protect public safety and livelihoods in Philadelphia.

We demand transparency, accountability, and rigorous testing before autonomous vehicles are permitted to operate on our streets.

About

We are a coalition of drivers, clergy, and residents advocating for public safety, economic fairness, and accountability in Philadelphia’s transportation system.

Our work is rooted in firsthand experience. We represent drivers whose livelihoods are directly affected by transportation policy, clergy who serve communities most impacted by public-safety failures, and residents who live with the consequences of decisions made without adequate testing or transparency.

We are deeply concerned about the deployment of unproven autonomous vehicle technology on Philly streets without sufficient oversight. Recent failures in other cities demonstrate that these systems can malfunction in ways that endanger the public, obstruct emergency responders, and disrupt daily life. Philadelphia’s narrow streets, dense traffic patterns, and complex roadways present additional risks that cannot be ignored.

We believe innovation must not come at the expense of human safety. Before any expansion of autonomous vehicle operations, there must be rigorous, city-specific testing, full public accountability, and clear lines of responsibility when failures occur.

Our coalition calls for transparency, public hearings, and responsible regulation to ensure that new transportation technologies serve the public interest and not expose residents, workers, and first responders to unnecessary danger.
